Screaming Peacock is all about serving food that’s fresh and local. We source every ingredient with care, always focusing on quality and sustainability. Our venison and pheasant come from trusted suppliers in Fife, giving our burgers, steak sandwiches, hot dogs and loaded fries real flavour and real pride. We run our own prep facility where we oversee every stage from butchery to production, so you can trust that everything we serve is made with care.

The Meat

When we say our food is next level, we mean it. Take our Cheeseburger. A quarter pound of juicy seasoned steak with melty cheese, fresh salad and our signature Peacock sauce. It is the classic you know, made with extra care and serious flavour from a team that does this better than anyone in the industry.

If you want something just as impressive off the grill, our stacked steak sandwich is the one to beat. Tender strips of seasoned steak, cheese, fried onions and a house steak sauce come together in a way only we can deliver. And with proper hot dogs and loaded fries on the menu too, everything we serve lands fast, fresh and a cut above the rest.

The Sauce

Our famous burger sauce? It’s made in-house with a kick of paprika, a dash of sherry, and a couple of secret touches that make it irresistible. Every burger needs that special something, and this is it. It’s rich, tangy, and guaranteed to take your burger to the next level.

The Toppings

We like to keep things fresh and local with our toppings. We work with a Fife veg merchant to bring you crisp lettuce, red onion, and gherkins, all carefully chosen for that perfect crunch. Plus, our homemade sticky fried onions? They’re the finishing touch that adds just the right amount of sweetness to every burger.

Working With Dietary Requirements

We get it, everyone’s got different tastes, and we’re all about making sure everyone can enjoy our food. That’s why we’ve swapped out wheat rusk for pea flakes to keep our burgers and hot dogs gluten-free. We also offer a bun-less option and gluten-free fries, so no one has to miss out on the good stuff. We don’t compromise on flavour, and we make sure we’ve got options for anyone with dietary needs - no problem.

Sustainable Packaging

When it comes to packaging, we don’t cut corners. All of our burgers and steak sandwiches come wrapped in recyclable greaseproof paper and packed in compostable meal boxes. It’s just another way we’re doing our bit to keep things sustainable, so you can feel good about enjoying great food without any guilt.
